The Procurement Technical Assistance Program is a congressionally authorized Department of Defense (DoD) initiative designed to establish a nationwide network of assistance offices for business entities seeking to market their goods and/or services to the government. As part of this initiative, the Procurement Assistance Center (PAC) was established and is funded by the Defense Logistics Agency and the Riverside Community College District.
Help business firms market their goods and services to federal, state and local government agencies. The program is designed to reduce costs to government entities, increase the number of qualified suppliers, and develop job opportunities. We serve as a resource to businesses, government agencies, and the community.
Services are provided to both large and small business firms. A concerted effort is made to provide assistance to Small Disadvantaged Business firms, Women-Owned Businesses, HUBZone Businesses Veteran-Owned Businesses, and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses. Services include:
- Complimentary one-on-one counseling
- Full-service bid match system that provides access to a variety of databases, including opportunities in the Federal Government (including DoD), Electronic Data Interchange, state and local purchasing, integrating several thousand nationwide leads. Bid matches are forwarded to our subscribers every working day via e-mail.
